Position: Organization Development Specialist- Talent Management
Location: Marshall Space Flight Center at Huntsville, AL

Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday; Hybrid

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Organizational Development Specialist (ODS) to join a dynamic environment for our client's Human Resources team to provide support to management, programs, projects and organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in management, organizational management, or related field of study
  • 2 years of experience in change management and/or organizational design
  • 7-10 years of Human Resources expertise, specifically with issues such as learning and development, dispute resolution, employee retention is highly desired
  • Proficiency in MS Office products is highly desired (i.e., Power Point, Excel, Word)
  • Experience (preferred) or Ability to learn unique government IT systems, which include but are not limited to: Service Now, SATERN, PDW, BOBJ, OBIEE, and Tableau
  • Ability to pass NACI background check
  • Signed Non-Disclosure Agreement

Responsibilities:

  • Use knowledge of organization development practices and concepts, and use of assessment instruments for individuals, teams, and organizations, and surveys and assessment tool results
  • Research, designs, and develops tools and programs to address organization issues and systems to align capability and strategy help accelerate organization performance.
  • Advise, coach, facilitate, and collaborate with leadership to effect organizational change.
  • Support the development and delivery of programs targeting the development of key competencies across the immediate organization or division that will enable stronger individual and team performance.
  • Perform Organization consulting to identify strategies to achieve organizational and team effectiveness.
  • Ensure all levels of management and leadership are provided with appropriate development programs and strategies.
  • Assess needs, design, and provide training for organizations. Conduct independent analyses, ensuring assignment progress, develop conclusions, recommend actions, write reports, and provide execution consultation.
  • Assist with constructing the analytical framework and work steps for the change management process.
  • Execute advanced strategic-thinking, planning, and execution in all levels of interfaces with employees and management.
  • Establish criteria for evaluating and tracking organization development metrics and lead or assist in special projects or initiatives as requested.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Attire worn should always ensure employees safety from working conditions (long pants, appropriate shirts and close toe shoes as required): on occasion, staff may be required to wear a business dress for certain activities.
