Job Description

Ascend Staffing is seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Controller for a manufacturing company. As the Plant Controller, you will play a crucial role in financial management, reporting and analysis, contributing to the overall success and growth. The ideal candidate will be working on site in Lake Havasu City, Arizona until the Kingman, Arizona plant is fully constructed. 

What we offer

• 120,000-150,000 yearly compensation package

• Bonus eligibility at 10% 

Plant Controller Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

• Develop and maintain financial models to support business forecasting and budgeting 

• Analyze financial data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators to provide insights and recommendations to senior management

• Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual budgets and forecasts 

• Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and work with the management team to implement corrective actions 

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements 

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements 

• Implement and maintain effective cost control measures 

• Analyze cost trends, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and present recommendations to management 

• Oversee inventory accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies 

• Collaborate with operations teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs 

• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations 

• Work closely with cross functional teams to gather relevant financial information and support decision making processes

• Collaborate with Flowserve and external auditors during financial audits 

Plant Controller Shift Info

• Day Shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Monday - Friday

Plant Controller (Qualifications/ requirements/ Skills)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus 

• Proven experience as a Plant Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred 

• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills 

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards 

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
