ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Manage and oversee front of house operations.
- Help achieve restaurant operational objectives.
- Plan and develop staff incentive programs.
- Assist in the planning of marketing strategies.
- Respond to customer concerns and questions.
- Control costs and minimize waste while ensuring high quality of preparation and service.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and secure working environment.
- Help oversee stock levels and order supplies when needed.
- Coordinate communication between from of the house and back of the house.
- Prepares staff schedules.
- Approves and edits timecards and enters tips daily.
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings.
- Gathers guest feedback and recommends and implements improvements.
- Assist in administering training programs.
- Monitor labor and product expenses to remain within budget, meet goals, and successfully advertise and support the CMR brand.
- Conducts and oversees end of month inventory.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years' experience in a restaurant management role in the hospitality industry
- POS experience required
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Must have Washington MAST Card
- Must have Washington Food Handler Card
- This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation.
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
