Summary: Seeking a Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to provide teletherapy services to students in Washington. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders remotely, collaborating closely with school staff and families to support student progress and success in a virtual learning environment tailored to Washington's unique educational landscape.
Responsibilities:

    • Conduct remote assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
    • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs.
    • Deliver teletherapy sessions using Washington-specific digital platforms and tools.
    • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into the virtual classroom and home environment.
    • Monitor and document student progress through regular reports and updates.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring.
    • Stay up-to-date on best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
    • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and communications.

Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility for certification.
    • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington.
    • Previous experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting preferred.
    • Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology for service delivery.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills for virtual work.
