CDL Movers

Manpower is partnering with a Johnstown moving company  to find an enthusiastic and hardworking Mover/Driver!

This is a direct-hire opportunity! This employer has a paid 3-day working interview. If you fit in well with the team you will be hired on to their team!

Monday through Saturday shift - potential 60 hour work week. 

Pay rates -

Class R Driver: $18 per hour (increases available for experience, job duties, time with company, etc.)

Class A Local Driver: $23 per hour (increases available for experience, job duties, time with company, etc.)

Class A Long Distance Driver: $300 per day (increases available for experience, job duties, time with company, etc.)
Employees are eligible to earn tips from customers and cash bonuses are awarded for 5 Star Reviews.

Responsibilities:
- Driving to job sites
- Protecting house and property
- Pad wrapping furniture
- Carrying furniture and boxes
- Loading items in the truck with the skill to eliminate movement and damage
- Packing boxes with household items
- Driving to a secondary site
- Unloading items
- Placing items in the home
- Completing paperwork
- Answering questions from the customer
- Ensuring the customer is fully comfortable and satisfied with their moving experience

Basic Requirements:

Class R Drivers
-At least 21 years old (insurance requirement)
-Valid Class R license
-Able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen
-Able to pass a background check
-2 years of driving experience
-Have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record which means:
-No major violations in the last 3 years
-Maximum of three minor moving violations in the last 3 years
-Maximum of one at-fault accident in the last 3 years
-No violations of hit and runs or vehicular manslaughter in the last 5 years

Class A Drivers - all Class R items plus the following:
- Valid Class A license
- Have a "Not Prohibited" status in Clearinghouse
- 2 years of Class A driving experience
- Have a valid DOT Physical Examination Card
- ELD experience & knowledge
