Outpatient Oncology Pharmacist

Jackson Pharmacy Professionals is a leading pharmacy staffing and placement company! We are currently hiring for a full-time Clinical Oncology Pharmacist! We are open to relocation candidates & those willing to obtain a CA license. PGY2 Oncology or comparable experience required. 

Clinical Oncology Pharmacist Position Details:

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Rotating weekends (every 3rd or 4th) 
• Permanent opportunity 
• Outpatient oncology, critical care services 

Oncology Pharmacist Position Summary: Provide comprehensive direct patient care to leukemia, lymphoma, and other cancer patients. This role includes management of adult patients, therapeutic rug monitoring, managing protocols, and reviewing chemo orders. This position will be involved in the review of research oversight & protocols. The Oncology Pharmacist will supervisor sterile compounding activities and  provision of drug information and optimizing drug therapy. This role will present at the Oncology P&T subcommittee meetings and present quarterly summaries. The Oncology Pharmacist also provides patient education.

• CA state Pharmacist license in good standing required or willing to obtain
• Successful completion of a PGY2 in oncology or equivalent practice experience.  
• BCOP certification, highly preferred
