American Plastics, a private equity-backed leading injection molded plastics manufacturer specializing Home Organization and Cleaning products, is looking for a Sales Support Specialist. This position will be remote with residence located in Bentonville/Rogers area. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible, but not limited to the following:


Responsibilities for this position include:


• Provide administrative, process, and system support to the sales team

• Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales materials, presentations, and proposals

• Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and logistics to coordinate sales activities and resolve issues

• Assist in order writing, tracking, and reporting – strong excel skills necessary

• Setup new items following retailer expectations prior to launches

• Maintain and update customer databases with accurate and relevant information

• Ensure all item setup details are accurate internally and externally

• Assist in the organization and execution of sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities

• Ecom Monitoring from an order and item page perspective

• Support CTL/ISTA testing and follow retailer requirements annually and as needed for new product launches

• Assist in arranging samples and delivering to customer preferred locations

• Sustainability survey support


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing or experience in lieu of

• 1-2 years related experience working for a Supplier to Mass or Club Retailer

• Must have experience with: Retail link, IDM Item setup, Item360, Medium skill level with Microsoft Excel

• Nice to have experience with: Madrid 2.0, Nova, GRS Co-Demand,

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping

• Excellent organizational skills, able to manage time and prioritize tasks.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships co-works and customer.

• Able to travel overnight as needed. Maintains a valid driver license.
