Job Description
A mid-sized construction company located in Saratoga County is looking for a Contract Administrator, who is highly organized and detail oriented. Prior experience in the construction industry is not needed. What is needed is an overall positive and friendly personality, a genuine willingness to help the team stay organized and succeed, and excellent administrative and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project documents, contracts, and correspondence. (i.e., insurance certificates, WMBE documentation, bonding documentation, etc.)
- Process and track purchase orders
- Process and track subcontracts
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails from clients and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized office space
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- A positive and friendly personality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of construction terminology and processes is a plus
