Job Description

A mid-sized construction company located in Saratoga County is looking for a Contract Administrator, who is highly organized and detail oriented. Prior experience in the construction industry is not needed. What is needed is an overall positive and friendly personality, a genuine willingness to help the team stay organized and succeed, and excellent administrative and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project documents, contracts, and correspondence. (i.e., insurance certificates, WMBE documentation, bonding documentation, etc.)
  • Process and track purchase orders
  • Process and track subcontracts
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails from clients and team members
  • Maintain a clean and organized office space
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • A positive and friendly personality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and processes is a plus
