Job Title: Social Media Specialist (Part-Time)

Location: LaMarr Civic Center, Eufaula, AL (Hybrid)

Salary: $12.00 p/hr.

Experience: At least 3 years’ experience as a Social Media Specialist

Education: A minimum of a high school diploma

Overall Description: The ideal candidate for this role can work both independently and collaboratively with a creative team, leadership team, and event managers to create and manage social media posts, audience interactions, and continuous engagement for the LaMarr Civic Center.

Responsibilities:

• Design/execute creative content campaigns across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Google My Business, etc.
• Design graphics and videos
• Basic knowledge of social media development and tools
• Stay on top of changing algorithms, trends, policies and protocols for social media platforms
• Manage and reply to comments, direct messages, and reviews in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date on pertinent holidays, events, and plan content accordingly

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience managing brand social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google My Business, and TikTok, & more
• Expertise in designing and planning social media ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram as well as knowledge for social media, storytelling, and analytics
• Openness to following instructions and working with other professionals
• Must be self-motivated, organized, have strong attention to detail and time-management skills
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Experience dealing with changing algorithms, regulations, compliance and troubleshooting with tech support when it comes to social media platforms
