Job Overview

The Regional Head Coach will work directly with the Regional Fitness Manager to oversee the daily fitness operations. The Regional Head Coach will provide fitness support for multiple studios based on business needs. This role will serve as a brand ambassador by consistently delivering our brand of fitness, promoting our vision of growth, and contributing to our community.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead 15 classes per week across multiple studios.
  • Maintain outstanding team performance through routine 1:1 meetings, quarterly 90/90 evaluations, and member feedback outlets.
  • Achieve business Key Performance Indicators. (Attrition, utilization, attendance, workout traffic)
  • Maintain proper functionality, timely repairs for studio equipment, and ensure studio cleanliness at 2 deep cleans per month, per studio. (Listen 360, etc.)
  • Conduct weekly visits to set goals, discuss KPIs, review member class schedules, utilization, template rollouts, and ensure studio cleanliness and deep cleans.
  • Regularly attend and participate in weekly meetings and trainings to maintain business alignment.
  • Perform intro and low user calls to increase member engagement and utilization.
  • Plan, lead, and provide monthly meeting agendas, logistics, and content for monthly studio meetings. (Sales/Fitness, template rollout, etc.)
  • Provide weekly email correspondence to team regarding events and business demands.
  • Actively champion and/or assist in the launch of all member engagement events and activities onsite & offsite.
  • Provide professional development to increase the knowledge, skills, and abilities in areas of fitness acumen, onboarding, and managerial skills. (rowing technique, strength & conditioning, recruiting, etc.)
  • Assess the staffing needs and oversee recruiting, hiring, and fitness licensure/credentialing practices; serve as Head Coach for staffing vacancies or upon business necessity.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • High energy, self-motivated and driven fitness professional.
  • Proficiency in exercise physiology, body mechanics, and technique.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and effectively complete duties and projects.
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer and employee situations.
  • Motivates and inspires staff & members to meet highly attainable goals.
  • Interpersonal savvy with successful ability to connect with members, community, and public.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, mobile applications, and other software systems.

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • 1 year of Orangetheory Fitness experience, preferred.
  • 2+ years of group fitness training or personal fitness training experience.
  • 2-3 years of management experience preferred
  • Valid Fitness Certification from ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA & AFFA.
  • Valid CPR/AED Certification.

Work Conditions

  • Frequently walking indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, squat, reach, kneel, step, and stand on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Routine high levels of noise within work environment.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules as needed, including weekends and holidays.
  • Routine travel within local region, occasional travel outside of local region.
