The Industrial Engineer will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing and production processes by analyzing systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance the productivity and workflow across our organization.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, estimating, IT, and project management, to implement process improvements and ensure seamless integration of changes.
- Analyze the organization’s processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Provide training and support on new processes, procedures, and technologies to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
Essentials We’re Looking For
- Background and experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing environment with a focus on software improvement and optimization.
- Possess a strong background in industrial engineering, along with proficiency in automation technologies, IoT protocols and platforms, and data analysis tools.
- Highly motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under changing conditions on a variety of projects, work accurately and quickly under pressure, and prioritize and work flexibly to meet deadlines.
Bonus Points
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, software engineering, or related field.
- Demonstration of new processes or projects implemented with little to or no prior knowledge.
- Experience with general woodworking, manufacturing, fabrication, construction or designing.
