BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector to work for a leading Greater San Diego area biotech company.
Pay Rate: $24 - $28 / per hour
Location: Carlsbad
Quality Control Inspector
- Generates inspection record and records general part information
- Performs inspection based on specified inspection technique; comparator, gauge, micrometer, caliper, CMM, etc.
- Documents readings from inspection points
- Generates “non-conforming reports” for parts which do not meet specification.
Education Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- AA degree preferred, high school diploma required
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in a biotech or dental manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand of blueprints/manufacturing drawings
- Ability to use metrology equipment including; micrometers, calipers, comparators, gauges. Experience with CMM is preferred.
- Understanding of GD&T
Physical Job Requirements:
- The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
