We are currently seeking a skilled Wastewater Treatment Plant Lab Technician to join our team in Meridian, MS. Responsibilities
  • Lab Testing: Conduct routine water and wastewater quality testing using laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze test results and provide accurate data interpretation to support decision-making in optimizing treatment processes.
  • Sample Collection: Collect water and wastewater samples from various points within the treatment plant, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to sampling protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures in the laboratory to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of laboratory activities, test results, and provide regular reports to plant management. Collaborate with regulatory agencies on reporting requirements.




Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED). A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment laboratory operations.
  • Certification: Valid Class IV Certification in Wastewater Treatment and Collection.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in operating laboratory equipment for water and wastewater analysis.
    • Knowledge of environmental regulations and water quality standards.
    • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey laboratory results, findings, and recommendations.
