JOB TITLE: Front Desk Receptionist
Related Titles: None
Reports to: Clubhouse Manager, Membership Director, General Manager
Full-time, year-round
5 day work week (varies Tuesday through Sunday)
Some nights and holidays required
Position Summary
To deliver superior service to all guests and members whether on the phone or in person. The position requires the utmost in professionalism, as this person will be the first impression our members and guests receive.
Essential Job Functions
- Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous and friendly service to all members and guests.
- Greets and directs all visitors.
- Answers and directs all incoming calls.
- Logs and coordinates reservations with food and beverage departments.
- Assists club department heads with daily tasks.
- Prepares and coordinates mailings as directed.
- Trains new staff members.
- Secretarial duties as needed.

Education/Certifications/Licenses/Training
High School Diploma preferred.
Experience/Background/Knowledge
Prior reception experience preferred. Knowledge of multi-line phone system helpful.
Skills
Ability to communicate effectively with managers, guests and employees, whether in person or on the phone. Ability to create and disseminate written correspondence. Strong computer skills expected; knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as other software programs a plus.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, and crouch; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
