Details:
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8am to 5pm (On-Site)
Annual Salary: $150,000 plus Bonus DOE

Summary/Objective:
The Vice President of Finance holds responsibility for overseeing the fiscal functions of the corporation in alignment with generally accepted accounting principles set forth by the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation. They lead financial management activities utilizing industry-appropriate techniques and practices.
Essential Functions:
  1. Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
  2. Supervise monthly financial reporting, Balanced Score Card updates, variance explanations, sales, and margin reporting.
  3. Manage quarterly IFRS reports to the German parent company.
  4. Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
  5. Analyze all financial aspects of the business and provide supervision in this regard.
  6. Participate in developing division plans and programs in collaboration with the Production Team.
  7. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, new programs/strategies, and regulatory actions.
  8. Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and trends to support senior executives of the European parent company.
  9. Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  10. Support Sales and Operations decision-making through reporting and analysis.
  11. Enhance, develop, and enforce organizational policies and procedures to improve overall effectiveness.
  12. Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as a problem solver.
  13. Provide technical financial advice and knowledge within the financial discipline.
  14. Improve the budgeting process through departmental education on financial issues.
  15. Offer strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
  16. Optimize bank and deposit relationships to enhance cash position.
  17. Develop reliable cash flow projection processes and reporting mechanisms.
  18. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting.
  19. Provide financial perspective advice on corporation contracts.
  20. Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Education and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
  3. 5+ years of leadership experience.
  4. Proficiency in Sage X3, SAP R/3, and/or SAP S4 Hana (FI/CO) highly desirable.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI.
  6. Experience in ERP implementation.
  7. CPA, CMA, or MBA qualifications are a plus.
Supervisory Responsibility:
  1. This position directly supervises and develops the Controller and indirectly supervises all employees in the Accounting and Finance department.
