The Dock & Door PM Technician travels to customer’s location, perform preventative maintenance on customer and company owned dock and door equipment including levelers, overhead doors, and vehicle restraints to ensure top performance for our customers.

Requirements:

• providing excellent 5 star customer service

• performing general preventative maintenance including greasing and lubing of dock and door equipment and ensuring clean levelers and proper tension on overhead doors.

• recommending the correct service and repair actions for all faults found

• Safely operating power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks.

• Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs; warranty procedures and other duties as assigned.

• Assists other Technicians in repairs

• Comply with Safety and OSHA procedures

• Winning attitude and great communication skills
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver's License - Clean DMV record
• 3 years of proven forklift equipment repair
• Proficient electronic, mechanical and hydraulic repair.
• North Texas based.
• Willing to learn new methods of working with others and on equipment
• Must be able to read codes, instructions and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Must possess own basic set of tools, w/ necessary additional tools provided

Work Environment

The work is performed in various locations, including warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, refineries and hospital settings. Employees may work with co-workers’ side-by-side with a moderate level of activity being performed. Exposure to high voltage AC/DC power is very common in many work environments. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
