Eastridge Workforce Solutions has partnered with a distinguished national law firm headquartered in Chicago (Loop), in the search for a skilled Patent Paralegal to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, with a schedule requiring two days in-office and three days working from home per week. Position Overview:

As a Patent Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting our Patent Prosecution Partners across various aspects of their daily practice. This position involves collaboration with patent prosecution teams spanning multiple offices nationwide.

The position will assist Patent Prosecution Partners in all aspects of their daily practice.

  • The paralegal will collaborate remotely with patent prosecution teams across multiple offices throughout the US.
  • Manage client dockets and portfolios to distribute among a team of attorneys and paralegals.
  • Oversee client matters such as reviewing invention disclosure documents, requesting search reports and tracking deadlines and bar dates.
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly docket reports, and track US and foreign deadlines.

  • 3-5years of IP legal administrative or paralegal experience
  • Hands-on foreign patent prosecution experience
  • Knowledge of USPTO filing procedures
  • A bachelor’s degree with a 3.4 GPA or higher
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, USPTO’s PAIR,, DocuSign, CPI, LMS+, and LexisNexis

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary range: $55,000 - $85,000 annually (dependent on qualifications and experience)
