Melt Casting Manager

Pikemann is seeking a talented Melt Shop Manager to work for our client in Plymouth UT. Our client has been in business for over 100 years and offers a wide range of products from raw materials to finished steel products.
This position will focus on taking care of our clients customers by working as a member of the leadership team to continually improve our safety, environmental efforts, quality, costs, productivity and profitability. This individual will be responsible for the growth and development of the Melt/Cast Team consisting of over 400 people.

  • Communication Skills- Receiving and conveying information that teammates are able to clearly understand, process and act upon. Displays necessary skills utilized to interact with a wide array of teammates at multiple levels, which foster an environment conducive to accomplishing set goals.

Your ideal candidate if you have:
  • Minimum of three years experience with EAF and Casting Leadership
  • Possesses thorough understanding of Melting & Casting operations, scrap, alloy & refractory inventory management, and all associated processes
  • Prior Steel industry leadership experience
  • Possesses strong technical background in operations or maintenance
  • Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience
