Job Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources / Admin Assistant to join our team! In this position, you will be working with the CFO to help record pertinent staff information and data, manage job listings and onboarding of new staff, as well as planning events. You will also assist in implementing wellness programs, answering questions about HR policies, filing documentation, and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. On the administrative side, you would complete a range of clerical tasks including, filing, organizing files and helping keep the CFO and office organized. The ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated. has previous human resources and office organization experience or knowledge, and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Record data for employee attendance, time off, performance appraisals, and more
  • Handle job posting and responses, scheduling interviewing, and conducting basic onboarding for new employees
  • Support CFO with documentation, processing paperwork, and more
  • Implement and engage staff in wellness programs to support and promote a healthy lifestyle
  • Answer phones, relay messages, and manage employee questions on HR-related matters as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of documentation and staff issues, as required
  • create and post safety and SOP signage, as needed
  • Assist in writing SOPs and job descriptions
  • maintains organization chart
  • Assists with inside training
  • Maintains apprenticeship documents
  • Assists with planning employee events
  • Assists with keeping the office and CFO organized
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with computer systems, including the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with human resources protocols
  • Knowlege of Excel is a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus
