Assistant Preschool Teacher

We are now hiring for our new Greece location located at 115 indigo Creek Dr, Rochester NY, 14624. The title of this role is Assistant Preschool Teacher.

The role of the Assistant Preschool Teacher is to help the lead teacher within the classroom with daily basic tasks such as helping with diapering and toilet training, helping with organization of the classroom, helping the lead teacher with executing lesson plans as well as circle time, craft, and centers. The Assistant Preschool Teacher will also be involved with ensuring a safe and positive environment for the children throughout the day.

Qualifications:

• Experience in early childhood education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as a part of the team
• Experience with lesson planning and curriculum development
• Ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Training in child development, education, or related field is preferred

License/ Certification:

• CPR Certification (preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (preferred)
