Job Description

1 Resource Group is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Piping QA professional to join our team. As a Process Piping QA, you will be responsible for ensuring code compliance and design constructability for our high-tech clean room construction projects. You will work closely with our Construction Management and Engineering and Design Groups to provide discipline-specific installation support and ensure the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly understand and adhere to acceptable industry standards for quality in microelectronics construction
  • Write, interpret, and maintain installation guidelines, bulletins, and memos
  • Ensure compliance with contract guidelines
  • Be a content expert in piping construction and effectively communicate expectations
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge in carbon steel and stainless steel welding, heat fusion and solvent welding of various plastics, and other methods of pipe joining such as threaded, compression, face seal, flared fittings, brazing, and soldering
  • Maintain ASME B31.3 compliant weld certifications
  • Be certified in PVDF fusion processes and PVC/CPVC bonding

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process piping QA
  • Thorough understanding of industry standards and codes
  • Strong knowledge of various methods of pipe joining and welding
  • ASME B31.3 compliant weld certifications
  • Certification in PVDF fusion processes and PVC/CPVC bonding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
