As we continue to expand and innovate, we are seeking a dedicated Optical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team.


Job Overview:


As an Optical Sales Engineer at IntraAction Corp, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, selling our high-quality acousto-optic products, and providing technical expertise in the field of acousto-optic modulators and deflectors. You will play a crucial role in representing our brand, expanding our customer base, and contributing to the growth and success of our company.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide technical assistance and guidance on product selection.
  2. Sales: Promote and sell IntraActions acousto-optic and RF driver products to new and existing customers. Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  3. Product Design: Collaborate with customers to design customized acousto-optic modulators and deflectors based on their specific requirements and applications.
  4. Product Suggestions: Continuously gather market insights and feedback to suggest new product ideas and improvements to our existing product range.
  5. Trade Shows: Represent IntraAction Corp. at industry trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions. Demonstrate our products, engage with potential clients, and generate leads.
  6. Technical Expertise: Provide technical support to customers and the sales team, addressing inquiries and ensuring a thorough understanding of our product capabilities.
  7. Procedure and Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, manuals, and procedures related to our products.
  8. Equipment and Software Upgrades: Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement equipment and software upgrades, ensuring our products remain at the forefront of technology.
Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in optical sales or a technical sales role.
  • Strong understanding of acousto-optic modulators and deflectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to trade shows and customer sites.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
