Job Description
Job Title: HarborWalk Village Outdoor Common Area Cleaner
Reports To: Assistant Manager Outdoor Common Area Cleaner
Summary: The HarborWalk Village Outdoor Common Area Cleaner is responsible for the cleanliness of all outside common areas, and outside businesses located at the HarborWalk Village. This role may include a variety of additional cleaning tasks based on business demand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- On multiple occasions throughout the day, clean the public restrooms to include mopping, sweeping, toilets sinks and trash cans.
- Keep bathrooms stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and cleaning supplies
- Sweep and mop outside common areas to include elevator landings, 2R and Grande staircase
- Sweep/pick up trash in Village areas where assigned to include picking trash and debris from flower beds.
- On multiple occasions throughout the day pull trash from trash cans and wipe trash cans
- Sweep/pick up trash in all parking lots and parking garage – empty all trash cans and wipe trash cans
- Clean windows and door
- Wipe down tables, chairs and benches
- Hose Charter area daily in front of all food trucks
- Hose down L dock and grey dock of all bird droppings
- Clean interior of trash cans
- Check doggie poop bag stations and refill bags as needed
- Pull dumpsters from restaurants and unload into compactor
- Clean/sweep under all dumpsters and dumpster areas
- Sweep and pick up trash in all staircases within the Village and Parking Garage
- If assigned a motorized cart – do inspection on equipment before using and after using
- Stock and maintain all cleaning carts
- Ability to repair/replace toilet paper, paper towel and soap dispensers
- Attend shift change meetings
- Report any and all issues such as leaks, stains or damage
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred by not required. Previous janitorial experience a plus

Other Qualifications
Availability Open and operational seven days a week. Employees are required to be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
License Requirements Valid driver’s license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years.
Rules and Regulations All employees must adhere to all safety rules and regulations required by local, State and Federal authorities, wear the appropriate personal protective equipment necessary to perform the job in a safe manner and will follow all safety rules per the Company’s Safety Policy.
Language Skills Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
