Through our REIT and Opportunistic Fund investment platforms, we are focused primarily on the acquisition, ownership, redevelopment and management of retail properties, including neighborhood and community shopping centers, urban high-barrier-to-entry street retail, and mixed-use properties with retail components.

Acadia is seeking a full-time Investor Relations Associate to join our team, reporting up to the company’s Executive Vice President, CFO, through its investor relations department. This position requires someone to effectively manage and coordinate all functions related to investor relations meetings and corresponding materials. The ideal candidate is a highly organized detail-oriented individual looking to thrive in a face-paced environment and enjoy a strong company culture and camaraderie. This is an onsite position based in Rye, New York.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as point-of-contact for ad-hoc investor relations questions; field questions internally and externally as appropriate and demonstrate ability to resolve queries timely and accurately, exercising judgment when technical input is required from internal colleagues.
  • Assist the CEO and CFO with quarterly earnings calls, including drafting scripts, prepping for Q&A, etc.
  • Assist the CEO in drafting an Annual Shareholder Letter.
  • Build and deepen relationships with the buy and sell side, including planning, coordinating and actively participating in non-deal road shows, investor dinners, property tours, etc.
  • Perform all administrative functions associated with investor meetings and conferences, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, disseminating meeting materials, and act as onsite liaison to ensure all event logistics are managed effectively.
  • Produce creative, clear investor outreach meeting presentations through the use of PowerPoint and/or other best in class presentation software.
  • Travel to 3-5 multiday conferences plus additional travel to several property tours and other shorter investor relations events requiring overnight stays throughout each year.
  • Actively participate in conferences, property tours and other investor events in New York City throughout the year.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a focus in finance, mathematics, marketing, or data analysis.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ prior experience in project management, customer relations management, or investor relations.
  • Prior experience in the real estate industry with buy and sell side interactions/experience preferred.
  • Outstanding written and communication skills.
  • Strong math skills and familiarity with basic accounting.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to present financial data in a visually appealing manner.
  • Proven experience coordinating multiple assignments simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and timely.
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel to conferences, events and property tours as needed.

The base salary compensation range for this role reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $150,000 – 165,000.

Employees may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary bonus program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
