Bakery Supervisor

Our Bakery supervisor would work daily to prepare pastry and fruit for production. You must have the ability to manage workflow with 2-9 team members to achieve end goals effectively and handle key bakery operations.

Due to the operating hours of our business, we are looking for an individual that would be able to have a flexible schedule. November through May you would have the ability to work 30 hours per week. Then May through August you would be working 40 hours a week, with the potential for a few weekends. Our peak time of the year is September and October. During this time we would ensure that you receive one day off a week, as you would need to operate the bakery for a minimum of 60 hours per week, including weekends.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with bakery production, including made from -scratch pies.
• Will manage and assist with high donut production.
• Peel, cut, and prepare fruit for fillings. Properly package, wrap products for retail as to maintain freshness and their retail appeal.
• Keep records to track what is produced weekly.
• Keep coolers and freezers clean and well stocked.
• Follow and comply with established health code procedures, including health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.
• Operate and sanitize all bakery equipment in a safe and proper manner according to procedures required by the local health department.
• Work with our Country Store to provide bakery products as needed for daily sales.
• Manage the workflow of the bakery team and bakery operation.
• Assist with open and closing procedures.
• Always maintain a clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
