Caregiver/Personal Care/Home Care Aide

Right at Home West Los Angeles is located on 14th St in Santa Monica, but we have clients up and down the west side. Our clients look to our caregivers to provide care, support and assistance so they can remain in their homes independently.

This Describes You:

1. Love working with the elderly
2. Are committed and great team players
3. Are good with personal care including helping to prepare meals, tidy the home, assist with laundry, bathe and rotate them (if necessary), ensure their safety, and are willing to build rapport with them
4. Are great communicators who reply to calls, voicemails, texts, or emails quickly and don't ghost us
5. Want flexible hours and are open to taking various shifts with different clients
6. Have a valid Home Care Aide (HCA) license, recent TB test, and CPR certification*

What You'll Do:

• Companionship - just being there with them to talk, play games together, and do little projects.
• Meal Prep - help our clients prepare a meal and then clean up afterward... some clients simply can't do this for themselves anymore. But with our help, their lives can be normal again.
• Assisting with personal hygiene activities like bathing, dressing, etc.
• Doctor's appointments - drive them and be their "note taker" so you can help them when they arrive home.

Right at Home West LA has clients all over West Los Angeles and parts of San Fernando Valley. We offer shifts from 4-12 hours 7 days a week so YOU have flexibility. Starting Pay- Up to $19 to start with 2+ years confirmed Home Care Aide experience, weekend availability AND ability to drive clients (i.e. valid driver's license, own car with valid car insurance and registration).
