Are you a skilled and experienced plumber with a passion for leadership? Comfort Systems USA Midatlantic is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Service Plumbing Lead Tech. This is a unique hybrid position that requires a hands-on approach while overseeing various responsibilities related to site surveys, quoting, scheduling, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technician Work: As a hands-on Lead Tech, you will actively engage in plumbing tasks, demonstrating your expertise and setting a high standard for work quality.

  2. Site Surveys: Conduct thorough site surveys to assess plumbing needs and develop comprehensive solutions.

  3. Sourcing Parts: Efficiently source and manage plumbing parts, ensuring the availability of required materials for each job.

  4. Quoting and Proposing: Prepare accurate and competitive quotes based on site surveys, presenting proposals to clients with clarity and professionalism.

  5. Scheduling Work: Coordinate and schedule plumbing jobs, optimizing efficiency and meeting customer expectations.

  6. Quality Assurance Checks: Perform regular quality assurance checks to uphold the highest standards in workmanship and customer satisfaction.

  7. Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with Service sales personnel to identify plumbing opportunities, contribute to proposals, and support business development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a skilled plumber with hands-on proficiency, 5+ years of experience in plumbing preferable
  • Journeyman or Master Plumber preferred, but not required
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
