Brenham Dermatology/DermSurgery-Brenham is interviewing for Medical Assistants / DermTechs in our growing and busy Dermatology group! We are adding talented team members to our team.

This is an exciting Medical Assistant position working 3 days a week in General Derm and 2 days in Mohs Surgery. The ideal candidate will have some dermatology experience, but not required, exceptional attitude and committed work ethic. We are building the team and will be hiring someone to grow with us.

Preferably CCMA or DTECH certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. TRAVEL maybe required on Thursdays to our Katy location. We pay for travel and mileage over and above the regular commute.

Duties include, but are not limited to: Rooming patients, assisting during surgery, educating patients & obtaining procedure consents, assisting with procedures, documenting in the EMR, scribing for physician, completing patient call backs, scheduling surgeries, logging & tracking pathology, completing PAs, removing sutures and other duties as assigned. Successful applicants will possess the ability to document accurately and quickly, have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medical and medication abbreviations and have the ability to work productively as part of the team.
