Responsibilities:

- Provide advice to clients and recommend insurance products.

- Provide intermediary services between insurance companies and clients.

- Provide good customer service to maintain and retain clients.

- Recruit like minded individuals.

- Use leads to expand customer base.

- Interview prospective clients to gather data about them.

- Sell life policies that payout on death.

- Sell annuities that pay an income at retirement.

- Analyze the client’s current portfolios and make recommendations.

- Assist clients during the claims process..

- Maintain electronic and paper records.

Requirements:

- A high school diploma or GED certificate

- An insurance sales license or willingness to earn one

- Proven experience as an insurance agent or in a similar sales role

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of insurance policies and coverage options

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and requirements

- Ability to effectively market and sell insurance products

- Excellent customer service skills - Proficient in telemarketing techniques
