Full-Time Paraprofessional | Belfast, ME | 2023-24 School Year

Job Title: Paraprofessional

Location: Belfast, ME

Soliant is currently seeking passionate Paraprofessionals to join our team in Belfast, ME. We have multiple full-time positions available, each offering 35 hours a week and focusing on a K-6 caseload.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in a classroom setting under the supervision of certified teachers.
• Assist with instructional activities and lesson implementation to support students' academic progress.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support as needed.
• Support students with special needs in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting preferred.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students in a K-6 grade range.
