Quality Assurance Manager

QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

Kings River Packing, LP seeks to hire a quality assurance manager as a member of the sales operation team. This team member will have a role in managing our QA team as well as analyzing and updating the sales team on fruit quality within the company. This position will gather information from the field and packinghouses to share with the sales team. 

Duties/Responsibilities

·        Work with sales team to provide and maintain customer spec sheets.

·        Manage the Quality Assurance team and give direction on quality issues

·        Report packhouse fruit quality to the sales team and ownership  

·        Inform packhouses of rejections and maintain rejection tracking

·        Gather information from field on quality issues and share with sales team

·        Collaborate with team members and members of other departments

·        Additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

·        Strong organizational skills and data entry skills

·        Experience in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)

·        Experience with Citrus Fruit quality preferred

·        Alignment with the company’s mission and core values

·        Flexibility in duties and assignments

·        Ability to work occasional overtime

·        High school diploma/GED, some college preferred

Physical Demands & Abilities

·        Ability to sit for extended periods of time, working from a computer

·        Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds

Compensation:

·        Compensation to start at $90 to $100K per year
