Here’s the Gist:

The Material Handler Lead will support the physical and administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, spare parts, supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, be a self-starter, and will be committed to the business.

Will be required to lead a team on red night shift to ensure a presence on a 12-hour shift.

The Day-to-Day:

• supply shortages at point of use, and other locations downstream of the main Warehouses, located throughout the Factories and ensure those are replenished in a safe and timely manner
• electronic to physical inventory integrity by completing data entry in an organized and accurate fashion
• exceptional Customer Service to our internal customers by responding to calls with courtesy and urgency
• store and deliver Chemicals and Solvents including Hazardous Materials
• Hazardous Waste receptacles located about the manufacturing areas are kept cleared, following proper safety and handling procedures
• and maintain all required Company Training and Certifications on time
• safe, accurate and secure handling of Precious Metals by adhering to all related Company Policies and established practices
• consistent coverage by maintaining excellent attendance and supporting the departments occasional overtime requirements
• operate a company vehicle
• handling of company product and related data entry to accurately track its movement
• operate material handling equipment including a Forklift
• to maintaining accurate Inventory, including participating in Cycle Counting processes
• to meet any other demands related to Materials & Supplies

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

• must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
• interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• with strong personal work ethic
• computer skills
• be able to pass a Background Check that includes a “Soft Credit Pull.”
• successful candidate must be self-directed and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• verifiable work history that displays a high level of stability
• be able to work a 12 Hour Night Shift rotation

Preferences:

• Material Handling or Warehouse experience
• using MS Office applications (primarily Outlook, Excel and Word)
• experience working in a 24x7 Manufacturing environment
• Wafer Fab experience is a plus
• Wolfspeed Employee will be considered a major plus
• using, or familiarity with an ERP system, preferably Oracle
• using, or familiarity with MES systems, preferably Wolfspeed’s internal systems
