School Psychologist

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team in Morgan, GA. As a contracted School Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
• Interpret assessment data to develop individualized intervention plans and educational strategies.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students experiencing academic or behavioral difficulties.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and accommodations.
• Support school-wide initiatives to promote positive mental health and social-emotional development.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to facilitate growth and success.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain).
• Prior experience working in educational settings preferred.
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
