Summary of PositionFalvey Insurance Group is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced WordPress Content Coordinator to join their award-winning marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in managing content and editing WordPress websites – specifically working within a custom theme. The candidate should be well-versed in creating/editing visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly WordPress content that align with our teams' goals and objectives. As our WordPress Content Coordinator, you will collaborate with our marketing team to take our website to the next level.Position Functions
WordPress Content Management
- Work within our custom WordPress theme to make edits and enhancements to meet our goals.
- Ensure website is responsive, visually appealing, and optimized for performance.
- Implement custom functionalities and features as per teams’ request and project requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing team to understand business goals, brand identity, and design preferences.
- Present and discuss design concepts, incorporating feedback to refine and finalize designs.
- Content Management
- Proficiently manage and update website content using WordPress CMS.
- Ensure content is accurately presented and aligned with the overall design.
- Implement basic SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search engine rankings.
- Conduct thorough testing of websites across various browsers and devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and resolve any bugs or issues promptly.
- Maintain website plugins and updates.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance skills and stay ahead of the curve.
- Extensive experience working within a custom WordPress theme and with WordPress plugins
- Proficient in some or most of the following: HTML and/or CSS
- Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred
- Knowledge of responsive design principles
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of WordPress websites designed and developed
- Attention to detail and excellent organization skills in order to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Degree in relevant field
- Relevant experience with professional references
- Interest in working in a hybrid, corporate environment/office setting
