Sr. Documentation Specialist

On of our top clients has asked us to find a Sr. Documentation Specialist.

Under the direct supervision of the Documentation Manager, the Senior Documentation Specialist will complete design concepts, create manufacturing drawings, and process engineering change requests.

Main Responsibilities:

This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all the “essential functions” for purposes of the ADA.

• Process engineering change requests according to the approved policy in an accurate and timely manner
• Work with a responsible engineer to create detailed 3d models of assigned design concepts
• Responsible for the creation of manufacturing drawings for various disciplines
• Work with outside vendors
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job
• All other duties as assigned
  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must have 2-3 years design experience
• Principles and practices of engineering drafting
• Ability to read blueprints
• Sound analytical ability
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must be able to work at various plants based on need and ability to travel if necessary
• Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of Associate's Degree in Engineering or another related field
• Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
