About the Position:

Stay Graceful, a leading healthcare and wellness center in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team as a PT/PRN. As a Physical Therapist at Stay Graceful, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients by providing innovative and effective care.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
• Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop goals for rehabilitation.
• Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and stretches to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion.
• Advise patients on proper body mechanics and positioning to prevent further injuries.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients by taking appropriate infection control measures.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families to promote self-care and health maintenance.
• Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect towards patients in all interactions.
• Collaborate with the team to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and overall care delivery.

Requirements:

• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of South Dakota.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various physical conditions.
• Ability to create personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
