In-home Caregiver, Park City, Ky

Job Summary:

Village Caregiving - Bowling Green is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-home Caregiver to provide care and support to seniors in their homes in Park City, KY and surrounding areas. This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical field. As an individual contributor, you will have a direct impact on improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily tasks and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
- Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance if needed
- Administer medication as per physician's instructions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the care coordinator
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments
- Follow all care plans and document daily activities and services provided

Requirements:

- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other team members
- Willing to undergo a background check and drug screening
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to assist clients with standing, walking, and other mobility tasks as needed
