Ideal candidates will thrive in a positive, professional environment and embrace the fast-paced nature of the work. The client prefers applicants with prior experience in School, Early Childhood, or Pediatric settings and requires availability for full-time hours. The schedule entails 7.5-hour days, Monday through Friday, with immediate availability for interviews.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to address specific sensory-motor integration challenges.
- Develop treatment plans and goals aimed at enhancing students' functional abilities and facilitating learning.
- Design occupational therapy interventions aligned with students' educational objectives to promote functional improvement.
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments to evaluate students' functioning in areas such as fine/gross motor skills, sensory integration, and self-care.
- Generate assessment reports outlining students' needs and proposed treatment strategies, and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Requirements
- Must be available to provide onsite services.
- Possess a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license in Georgia.
