Schedule : Monday through Friday 7:30am -4:30pm.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age or as required by local laws.
- Have experience working with persons who are veterans and persons who may suffer from cognitive, mental health, or substance abuse problems.
- Physically and psychologically capable to perform the required duties.
- In good general health without physical defects or abnormalities, which would interfere with the performance of these duties,well-proportioned as to height and weight.
- Capable of binocular vision correctable to 20/30 (Snellen) and free of color blindness.
- Must have tested as TB-free prior to starting work on this contract.
Duties :
- Internal and external patrols , make rounds between the Hillsboro, West Linn, Fairview, and CRRC on a regular basis, make rounds to the Salem Clinic at least once every two weeks, make rounds to the Bend Clinic at least once a month.
- Take Appropriate Action. interact with all individuals encountered in and around the areas of surveillance to provide information prevent unlawful activity.
- Security guard will, at random conduct patrols so as not to establish a pattern.
- Final Patrol. make sure that no unauthorized persons remain in the building.
- Security guard shall have exclusion authority, i.e., restricting an individual’s access to specific sites/areas .
- Security guard shall respond to any reported urgent calls within Security calls within 1-2 minutes.
- Call 911. Security guard shall not attempt to handle any situation that is beyond their authorization or ability to deal with safely.
- In the event of a fire alarm, the Guard should assist in the orderly evacuation (if necessary) and assist in crowd control and traffic control until the arrival of the Fire and Police Department. Direct Fire Department to fire scene.
