We are seeking highly organized, proactive, compassionate individuals to join our team as a CARE Outreach Specialist to support our members, their families, and our clinical team.
As a CARE Outreach Specialist, you will play a pivotal role as the face of our company in the community. Your role involves engaging with community members, promoting brand awareness, and serving as a vital link between the heart of our organization and the local community. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct outreach and attend community events to represent Gloria Gates CARE and enhance its visibility.
- Present Gloria Gates CARE mission and values in front of audiences of varying sizes.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and representation of the Gloria Gates CARE identity.
- Engage and nurture potential members and their families by providing information about our CARE services.
- Actively network and collaborate with community leaders and influencers to identify opportunities to connect with current Medicaid and Medicare recipients.
- Identify partnership opportunities to further our brand presence.
- Ability to transition into a Member CARE Advocacy role, building on the relationships established through outreach.
EXPECTATIONS:
- Commitment to the mission of Gloria Gates CARE.
- Demonstrate and promote the values of respect, honesty, and dignity for the patient, families, and the healthcare team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel in the community up to 80%
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office software and communication tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect the practice by abiding by all laws and principles related to confidentiality; keep information concerning practice operations, members, their families, and staff confidential.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen
- Maintain compliance with all Gloria Gates CARE standards, including Conduct, Compliance, and all other policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in healthcare or related industries is a plus.
