Mazda Certified Tech

Job Summary:
The Mazda Certified Technician at Deery Brothers Inc. is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on Mazda vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position in which the technician will work individually to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues. This position is located in West Burlington, Iowa.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $16 to $26 per hour, paid weekly. Other benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, vacation and sick time, and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and identify mechanical issues on Mazda vehicles
- Conduct repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer’s guidelines
- Use specialized tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently
- Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding repairs and timelines
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
- Stay up-to-date with Mazda training and certifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mazda Certified Technician with relevant certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified technician in a dealership or independent repair shop setting
- Proficient in diagnostic and repair techniques for Mazda vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
