Job Summary:

As a Lead Sign and Graphic Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of various signage and graphics projects within our organization. Your role will involve leading a team of installers, managing installation projects from inception to completion, and ensuring that all installations are executed with precision, quality, and safety in mind.

Essential Functions:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with project managers to plan installation schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate logistics for sign and graphic installation projects.
    • Review project specifications, blueprints, and site plans to determine installation requirements and identify potential challenges.
    • Ensure that all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly prepared before the start of each installation.
  2. Team Leadership and Supervision:
    • Lead and supervise installation teams, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the installation process.
    • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that each team member understands their responsibilities and has the necessary resources to complete their assignments.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project objectives, discuss safety protocols, and address any issues or concerns.
  3. Technical Installation Expertise:
    • Perform hands-on installation of a variety of signage and graphic products, utilizing industry-standard tools and techniques.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in applying vinyl graphics, installing dimensional lettering, mounting illuminated signs, and wrapping vehicles with precision and accuracy.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during installations, implementing solutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  4. Quality Assurance and Inspection:
    • Conduct thorough inspections of completed installations to verify alignment, placement, and functionality of signage and graphics.
    • Ensure that installations meet quality standards, specifications, and client expectations.
    • Address any deficiencies or discrepancies promptly, making adjustments or corrections as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  5. Safety Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for installation teams and bystanders.
    • Conduct pre-installation safety assessments and hazard analyses, identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
    • Provide safety training and guidance to team members, promoting awareness and adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
  6. Client Communication and Satisfaction:
    • Interact professionally with clients and project stakeholders, addressing questions, concerns, and requests throughout the installation process.
    • Provide updates on project progress, timelines, and milestones, ensuring transparency and alignment with client expectations.
    • Proactively seek feedback from clients to gauge satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
  7. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including project documentation, equipment specifications, and relevant permits or certifications.
    • Complete installation reports, detailing work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the installation process.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies regarding documentation and record-keeping.

Required Education and Experience:
