Summary: The BMW Receptionist will focus on providing and maintaining high customer satisfaction and ensuring excellent service standards, while also providing administrative assistance, as needed.

Salary:

  • $21.00 an hour

Responsibilities:     

  • Welcome all customers with a warm and sincere greeting.
  • Answers phone call in a professional and courteous manner and route calls accordingly.
  • Restock coffee condiments, water and snacks.
  • Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filing.
  • Responsible for filing, scanning, and/or booking repair orders as needed.
  • Follows company safety procedures and policies.
  • Handle all customer payment and credit transactions.
  • Receives cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and records the amount received in an accurate manner.
  • Provides proper change and/or receipts to the customers.
  • Provides exceptional customer service throughout checkout process.
  • Records transactions on daily settlement sheets and verifies against cash-on-hand.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to stand, sit and mobilize through various dealership work areas (sometimes for extended periods)
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills; cultural sensitivity and demonstrates ability to work with diverse people groups (2 years of experience)
  • Must have skills in handling and counting cash accurately (2 years of experience)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and management
  • Must demonstrate sufficient computer literacy
  • Possess a positive attitude and commitment to adhere to and administer company policies, procedures and standards

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to three years' previous experience.
