Full-time summer Nanny for 8 and 6-year-olds

Summary:

A bit about us:
             We are a close-knit family of 4 who will be returning to Minnesota after being in Uganda for the past year! We enjoy spending our time together out and about and finding new things to do. We enjoy going to nature centers and creating things out of cardboard. We even tried making our own maple syrup this past year! We generally prefer to be out and about, but love to spend Friday evenings having a family movie night! We have had the same nanny for the past 7 years, but sadly she is off to bigger and better things, which is where you come in!

A bit about you:
            You are creative and great at coming up with fun ideas, activities, and projects to do with the kids daily. You are trustworthy and reliable, we can count on you to give it you all the 6 weeks that you will be with us. You are responsible and a great swimmer, as the kids love to go to the pool and beach. You are engaging and can meet each of our children at their levels. One is very outgoing and active and the other is more quiet and reserved. You aren’t afraid to engage in silly imaginary play for a few hours or read a book to the children in the afternoons.

Job Duties:
             The children will have a few camps sprinkled into the weeks here and there that we will need you to transport them to and from. A typical day would be you arriving with a plan of things to do, after breakfast, write it all down on a whiteboard, and get ready for the day’s activities. Lunch and snacks when the time is right and getting the children to help in cleaning up. They do tend to like some downtime in the afternoon, but we prefer not to use screens. Generally, quiet reading or legos work well!

Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience, engaging, active and fun!
Set yourself apart: We would love it if our nanny was going to school for education or has a. background in lifeguarding, but it’s not required.
Schedule:  Starting July 8th, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm or so, until August 16th
