We offer flexible schedules part time morning, afternoon, evening or weekends hours.

Job Summary

The Pool and Beach Attendant will be responsible for delivering first-class customer service to guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Present menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food, beverage, and service.
  • Genuinely interact and hold professional conversations with guests.
  • Proactively attend to guests around the pool and beach area.
  • Proactively keep workspace and service area clean of debris.
  • Maintain an elegant personal appearance and in uniform.
  • Write order on check, as well as verify membership or resort guest account.
  • Use POS (Point of Sale) system.
  • Relay orders to kitchen and serve from kitchen and service bars.
  • Deliver items that have been ordered by patrons to the designated destination promptly.
  • Garnish and decorate dishes as needed and include appropriate condiments and sides prior to serving.
  • Serve beverages and display knowledge of wine and other alcoholic drinks.
  • Observe when guests need assistance and determine when a meal has been completed.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
  • Present checks with script and posts charges to member/guest account.
  • Daily checklists of duties and monitor linen supplies.
  • Clears and resets tables at conclusion of each course.
  • Maintain the daily operations of the beach within the Hotel guidelines.
  • Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to all guests.
  • Assist guests with setting up umbrellas and beach chairs.
  • Fold towels in morning and set up towel/water station.
  • Collect and store umbrellas and beach chairs at the end of day.
  • Daily set-up, breakdown, cleaning, washing of beach equipment (umbrellas, beach chairs, lounge chairs, Cabanas)
  • Collect and bag soiled (dirty) towels and transport them to the hotel laundry facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education Required

  • High School Diploma or GED required, or equivalent working experience

Minimum Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role preferred but not required

Skills Required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation, and exhibit full range of motion including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, and crouching.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and occasionally run.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and able to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Hourly Range
$10—$11 USD
