Harney District Hospital of Burns, OR is looking to hire a full-time Cook to join the Dietary Team. This position starts at $15.76 and increases based on experience. Required Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques and food safety requirements
• basic math skills
• general record keeping methods
• Ability to read and write in English language. Equivalent to a high school education, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.

• SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/LICENSES: Must possess Oregon Food handler's card within 30 days of appointment.
• DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: Previous cooking experience in an institutional or similar environment. Possession of Oregon food handler's card at time of appointment. Knowledge of basic computer skills, or ability to learn.
