POSITION SUMMARY


Under the general direction of the Direct Service Manager, a Direct Care Provider is responsible to provide support, guidance, and direction, re-direction to the member attending Community or Center Based. Direct Care Providers provide MIKID licensable services to the primary caregiver while supporting the emotional, physical and mental well-being of the member and his/her family. Direct care services may be provided in the child’s home, a licensed facility or in the community.

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Must be age 21 or over. (Medical licensing regulation)
  • One year experience in behavioral health or childcare.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience in the behavioral health field is preferred.
  • Ability to write and speak effectively.
  • Must be able to be work in both indoor/outdoor working conditions.
  • Bi-lingual a plus.
  • Preference will be given to person who has a family member with behavioral health issues or a person who has participated in a significant way in the life of a person with behavioral health issues.
  • CPR/1st Aid Certified
  • Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance card.
  • Must have valid Arizona Driver's License, business use vehicle insurance and vehicle registration.
  • Must complete all necessary paperwork and mandatory training prior providing services.
