Description of WorkBlack Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is currently accepting applications for a full-time Physician.  This vacancy posting has been extended.This position reports to the Medical Director.  Responsibilities include:Medical Rounds on assigned units to evaluate all acute and non-emergent illnesses, injuries and other medical problems and to direct appropriate treatmentProvide unit coverage in the event of physician absencesParticipation in the call schedule, typically 1:4 by telephone coverage with the occasional need to return to the facility for evaluations/examinationsReview all laboratory results, EKGs, X-rays, consultations, and other clinical data/reports and order appropriate treatment and/or further studies as indicatedPerform timely follow-up assessmentsDocument regularly and as resident conditions changeAttend and participate in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetingsAttend weekly Medical Staff meetingsAttend Medical Education programs and complete ongoing reading/study to maintain current competencyCommunication and collaboration with Interdisciplinary Team and Medical DirectorOther duties, as determined by the Medical
