They are harnessing AI/ML to create software which will allow self-driving cars to accurately navigate surroundings whilst ensuring safety is built into every step of the process.The business has a strong physical preference in San Francisco as well as having remote workers across the US.They are looking to hire a strong Machine Learning Engineer to architect, code and tune their large-scale ML models.Responsibilities:Take ownership of large scale machine learning models including the design, building and tuning of models.Play a key role is shaping the future direction of their AI/ML teams.Work collaboratively with engineering, product and design functions within the business.Mentor junior members of the teamQualifications:BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Mathematics or similar fields.Previous experience building and operating large scale AI/ML systems is preferred.5+ working in a modern software engineering environment.Experience with key ML technologies for example Theano or Torch.
