Maintenance Supervisor

Summary: Seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with expertise in managing maintenance operations within a high-volume production environment, focusing on safety, budgeting, and team building.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to organize, direct, and control maintenance shift operations

• Knowledge of computerized maintenance systems (MRO, work order system, Preventive/Predictive Operation)

• Implementation and sustainment of an equipment recurring issue elimination program

• Compliance with local, state, federal guidelines and plant policies

• Budget management for department costs

• Hands-on assistance to meet deadlines when necessary

• Identification of opportunities to reduce maintenance costs

• Adherence to Quality Systems requirements and Lean Manufacturing procedures

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Management preferred; alternatively, 6+ years of experience in the field or a combination thereof

• Exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities

• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage skilled labor for equipment repair and safety training

• Manage maintenance operation using computerized systems

• Lead programs to eliminate recurring equipment issues

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

• Meet department budget requirements

• Provide hands-on assistance as needed

• Identify cost reduction opportunities

• Follow Lean Manufacturing procedures

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager

Additional Information:

Shifts are scheduled for 12 hours; mandatory overtime may be required. C Shift operates Thurs-Sat with every other Wed from 5:25 am to 6:00 pm. The role involves working on automation and production equipment in a facility producing approximately 30,000 car batteries daily.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
